I have been using different versions of the Razer Naga mouse on and off for a couple of years. It was my first gaming mouse, and going from a standard PC mouse to this, was a definite upgrade. Now I just bought the latest version and have been trying it out for a couple weeks. The Naga’s 5G optical sensor they put in the newer ones is one of the fastest ones out there, and the Ormond switches are great. But that’s just the beginning, there is so much more to this mouse.

My favorite thing about the Razer Naga is its price! Of course, paying close to $100 for a mouse is a lot, but it happens to be on sale at Amazon right now for just $65.99!

Let’s start with the regular Naga, the 7-button mouse. This is a one-of-a-kind design that you almost never see on a mouse – I guess the closest is the DeathAdder Elite Chroma. The clear difference between the Naga Trinity and the DeathAdder are the texture that’s under the two buttons on the panel, plus that the Naga has a hole that fits your ring finger – the DeathAdder doesn’t.

The fourteen buttons version, this one has a 7 button MOBA side panel, is the closest resembled by the Razer Naga Hex V2. Actually, it is a perfect description of that remarkable mouse. You can get the Naga Hex v2 for about $74,49 as new and $49.99 used. By the way is this the cheapest version of the Naga.

As the last and final version, we have the nineteen-button version with the 12 button MMO panel. It is the ultimate version of the Naga Chroma MMO gaming mouse. If this version happens to be the one you desire, you must be aware that it is expensive, with a cost of $100.

But how is it to use? The mouse is amazing, it is fast and smooth. It is wonderful for gaming and great for browsing the web and working.

Furthermore, it is possible to program each button with different macros, which is a feature that I think is really cool!

So, what’s the verdict?

All in all, the mouse is great and has plenty of functions, and has a fine grip. But with all the points it gains on its functions, it loses some on its lack of simplicity.

With the Razer Naga and it’s 3 changeable side panels you’ll get plenty of value for $99.99.

I’ll give the Razer Naga 4/5 stars
